Group of Filipino Jeepney’s lined up in Baguio City. The Jeepney is one of the many forms of public transport in the Philippines. Originally made from U.S. military jeeps left over from World War II and have become a symbol of Philippine culture, some vividly and colourfully decorated. When the American troops left the Philippines they had a surplus of jeeps which were given or sold to Filipinos, they then stripped them down and modified them to accomodate more passengers.
