Stock photo of Holy cow standing patiently beside man reading newspaper on the streets of India. Selective focus has been used to focus on one of India’s many holy cows. Th cow in India is not just a cow but a Holy cow as they are revered religiously and rightly so. Cows eat waste which is commonly thrown on the streets, give milk aplenty for human consumption and good health and the cow is also used as a working animal. The cow ploughs fields in agriculture and transports goods when tethered to a bullock cart. And one more important function of the holy cow in India. The use of cow dung which is compressed into patties when fresh, dried in the sun while stuck to walls or on the floor and finally used as fuel!
