Originating in Trinidad and Tobago with a nerve tingling high scoville rating of around 1.5 million scoville units. In 2011 it was labelled as the Hottest Chili in the World for that particular year and the Butch T Chili Pepper still packs a punch to this day although later (2012) the Scorpion Moruga was considered the hottest Chili Pepper at 2 million scoville units and presently (2018) the Carolina Reaper raised the bar to around 2.2 million scoville units!
