Stock Photo Description
Stock Photo image of Mount Sibayak (Gunung Sibayak 2,212m) and the Volcanic crater edge in the Karo Highlands of North Sumatra, Indonesia.
An active volcano but not one of the most active making it safe for trekking and when Trekking Mount Sibayak one can see vents around the summit emitting vast quantities of sulphurous gas and yellow sulphur forming a solid around the vent outlets. The area is also home to some commercial Hot Springs (Air Panas) down at the base of the mountain so after Trekking Mount Sibayak one can have a relaxing bath there to rest those aching muscles.
